Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 2026

Overview

Welcome to Arleene Forge. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Arleene Forge. Arleene Forge operates this online store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, handmade wooden hunting cutting boards, products, and services provided to you as the customer (collectively, the “Services”).

Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

These Terms of Service, together with any additional policies referenced within them, describe your rights and responsibilities when accessing our website, using our Services, or purchasing our products.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully. They contain important information regarding your legal rights, order responsibilities, handmade product variations, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, purchasing from, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or our Privacy Policy, you should not access or use the Services.

Section 1 — Access and Account Information

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or country of residence. You also confirm that you have given permission for any minor dependents under your supervision to use the Services on devices that you own or manage.

To browse our store, place an order, or access certain features, you may be required to provide information including your name, email address, billing information, payment information, and shipping address.

You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, complete, and authorized for use.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity performed through your account. You may not sell, transfer, assign, or license your account to another person.

Section 2 — Handmade Wooden Products

Arleene Forge sells handmade wooden hunting cutting boards and related wooden products. Each product is individually crafted and may be made to order.

Because wood is a natural material and every product is handmade, no two items will be completely identical. Natural and handcrafted variations may include differences in:

  • Wood grain.

  • Wood color and shading.

  • Natural knots and markings.

  • Texture and surface appearance.

  • Design placement.

  • Engraving, artwork, or decorative details.

  • Shape, edges, and finishing.

  • Minor measurements or dimensions.

These reasonable variations are an expected part of purchasing a handmade wooden product and are not considered defects, damage, or misrepresentation.

We make reasonable efforts to display our products accurately. However, the colors, grain, appearance, dimensions, and details shown on your screen may differ slightly depending on your device, display settings, lighting, and the natural characteristics of the wood.

Product photographs are intended to represent the overall style, theme, and design of the item. They do not guarantee that the product received will be an exact replica of the photographed product.

We reserve the right to update product descriptions, pricing, dimensions, designs, materials, availability, and other product information at any time without prior notice.

We may discontinue products or limit the quantity available to any individual, household, geographic location, or jurisdiction.

Section 3 — Product Use and Care

Customers are responsible for reviewing and following all product care instructions provided on the website, product listing, packaging, or accompanying materials.

Wooden cutting boards may be damaged by improper washing, soaking, exposure to extreme temperatures, dishwashers, harsh chemicals, improper storage, or failure to maintain the wood.

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the product description:

  • Do not place the board in a dishwasher.

  • Do not soak the board in water.

  • Do not leave the board exposed to excessive moisture.

  • Do not place the board in a microwave or oven.

  • Do not expose the board to direct flames or extreme heat.

  • Clean and store the board according to the care instructions provided.

Arleene Forge is not responsible for damage caused by improper use, cleaning, storage, maintenance, or handling after delivery.

Customers should review the applicable product listing to determine whether a specific board is intended for food preparation, serving, decoration, or display.

Section 4 — Orders

When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.

Arleene Forge reserves the right to accept, decline, limit, modify, or cancel an order for any lawful reason. An order is not considered accepted until payment has been successfully processed and an order confirmation has been issued.

Please carefully review your product selection, quantity, shipping address, billing information, and other order details before completing your purchase.

Because our wooden hunting cutting boards are handmade and may enter production shortly after an order is placed, we may be unable to accommodate cancellation or modification requests.

If we decline, modify, or cancel an order, we will attempt to contact you using the email address, telephone number, billing address, or other contact information provided during checkout.

Purchases are subject to our Refund and Return Policy.

Unless otherwise authorized in writing, products purchased through our website are intended for personal or household use and may not be purchased for unauthorized commercial resale or export.

Section 5 — Preorders and Made-to-Order Products

Certain products may be offered as preorders or made-to-order items.

By purchasing a preorder or made-to-order product, you acknowledge that:

  • The product may not be completed at the time your order is placed.

  • Materials and production planning may begin shortly after payment is received.

  • Each product is created individually.

  • Processing and production time occurs before shipping.

  • Estimated production time is separate from carrier delivery time.

  • The product may take approximately 30–60 days to be completed and shipped unless another timeframe is stated on the product page.

  • Production and shipping estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Orders are not considered delayed while they remain within the processing timeframe displayed on the website at the time of purchase.

You will receive tracking information when your completed order is prepared for shipment and tracking becomes available.

Section 6 — Prices and Billing

Product prices, discounts, promotions, and special offers may change without notice.

The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed and will be shown in your order confirmation.

Unless otherwise stated, displayed prices may not include:

  • Sales tax.

  • Shipping charges.

  • Handling fees.

  • Customs duties.

  • Import taxes.

  • International processing fees.

Prices offered through our online store may differ from prices available through other sales channels, marketplaces, physical locations, or third-party websites.

Promotions may be subject to separate terms and conditions. If promotional terms conflict with these Terms of Service, the specific promotional terms will control for that promotion.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, payment, shipping, and account information.

You represent and warrant that:

  • The payment information you provide is accurate.

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.

  • Charges submitted through the payment method will be honored.

  • You are responsible for all applicable product, shipping, handling, tax, customs, and import charges.

Section 7 — Shipping and Delivery

Processing time refers to the time required to create, finish, inspect, package, and prepare your handmade product for shipment.

Processing time does not include the shipping carrier’s delivery time after the package has been accepted by the carrier.

All processing, shipping, and delivery timeframes are estimates unless specifically stated otherwise. Delivery dates are not guaranteed.

Arleene Forge is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers.

  • Customs or international processing.

  • Weather conditions.

  • Natural disasters.

  • Holidays.

  • Labor interruptions.

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses.

  • Failed delivery attempts.

  • Government restrictions.

  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an address entered incorrectly by the customer.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal, or other customer-related issue, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges before the package can be resent.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for the shipment transfers after the completed order has been accepted by the shipping carrier.

Section 8 — Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations

All purchases are subject to our Refund and Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Because our products are handmade and made to order, all sales are generally final.

We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations for reasons including:

  • Change of mind.

  • Buyer’s remorse.

  • Accidental purchases.

  • Ordering the wrong item.

  • Personal preferences regarding wood grain, coloring, appearance, design, or artistic details.

  • Normal handmade variations.

  • Natural wood characteristics.

  • Failure to review product descriptions, measurements, processing times, or store policies.

Damaged or defective product claims must be submitted according to the requirements and timeframe stated in our Refund and Return Policy.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Section 9 — Intellectual Property

The Services and their contents are owned by or licensed to Arleene Forge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Protected materials may include:

  • Business names.

  • Logos.

  • Product names.

  • Product designs.

  • Hunting-themed artwork.

  • Cutting board designs.

  • Photographs.

  • Videos.

  • Graphics.

  • Website text.

  • Product descriptions.

  • Reviews.

  • Layouts.

  • Branding.

  • Audio and visual content.

These Terms permit you to use the Services only for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes.

Without prior written permission from Arleene Forge, you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, publish, publicly display, sell, resell, download, store, transmit, imitate, or create derivative works from any protected material available through the Services.

Arleene Forge’s names, logos, product names, designs, and slogans may be trademarks or other protected intellectual property. They may not be used without prior written authorization.

Shopify’s names, logos, products, services, and branding belong to Shopify or its applicable licensors.

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.

Section 10 — Optional Third-Party Tools

We may provide access to tools, services, applications, payment processors, or features operated by third parties.

We do not necessarily monitor, control, or manage these third-party tools.

Access to optional third-party tools is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties, representations, conditions, or endorsements.

Your use of optional third-party tools is at your own risk and discretion. You are responsible for reviewing and accepting the applicable third party’s policies and terms.

Future tools, resources, and website features may also be considered part of the Services and will be subject to these Terms.

Section 11 — Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links, embedded features, or materials provided by third parties.

Arleene Forge is not responsible for reviewing or guaranteeing the accuracy, availability, safety, policies, products, services, or practices of third-party websites.

Accessing third-party websites is at your own risk.

We are not responsible for losses, damages, or disputes related to products, services, content, or transactions provided by third parties.

Questions or complaints regarding third-party products or services should be directed to the applicable third party.

Section 12 — Relationship With Shopify

Arleene Forge is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce technology used to offer the Services.

However, purchases and transactions made through our store are directly between you and Arleene Forge.

Shopify is not the seller of our handmade wooden hunting cutting boards and is not responsible for the production, quality, shipping, delivery, replacement, refund, or use of products purchased from Arleene Forge.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising directly from transactions between you and Arleene Forge.

Section 13 — Privacy

Personal information collected through the Services is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, Shopify may collect and process information regarding your access to and use of the Services to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the platform.

Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to Shopify, payment processors, shipping providers, service providers, and other parties needed to process and fulfill your order.

Some service providers may be located outside your state, province, or country.

Please review our Privacy Policy and Shopify’s applicable privacy information for additional details.

Section 14 — Reviews, Feedback, and Submitted Content

If you submit, upload, post, email, or otherwise provide reviews, photographs, videos, ideas, suggestions, comments, feedback, proposals, or other content, you grant Arleene Forge a nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, transferable, and royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, display, and promote that content in any lawful medium.

This may include using customer reviews or photographs to operate, improve, advertise, and promote our Services and products.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have permission to submit the content.

  • Your content does not violate another person’s rights.

  • Your content is accurate and not misleading.

  • You have disclosed any compensation or incentive associated with your submission.

  • Your content complies with these Terms and applicable law.

We are not required to:

  • Keep submitted content confidential.

  • Compensate you for submitted content.

  • Publish or retain submitted content.

  • Respond to submitted content.

We may monitor, edit, reject, or remove content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, misleading, abusive, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate.

You may not use a false identity, false email address, or misleading information when submitting content.

Section 15 — Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

Information available through the Services may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.

These may relate to:

  • Product descriptions.

  • Product dimensions.

  • Materials.

  • Processing times.

  • Shipping times.

  • Pricing.

  • Promotions.

  • Availability.

  • Shipping costs.

  • Product photographs.

We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders when necessary, including after an order has been submitted.

If an order is canceled due to an error on our part, any applicable payment will be handled according to the circumstances and applicable law.

Section 18 — Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, engage in fraudulent activity, threaten the security of the Services, or act unlawfully.

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations or liabilities incurred before termination.

Sections that are intended by their nature to survive termination will remain effective, including provisions concerning intellectual property, submitted content, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification, governing law, and payment obligations.

Section 19 — Disclaimer of Warranties

Information made available through the Services is provided for general informational purposes.

Although we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, accurate, or error-free.

Except where expressly stated and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Services will always be available or uninterrupted.

  • Website errors will always be corrected immediately.

  • Every handmade product will appear exactly like listing photographs.

  • Natural wood characteristics will be identical between products.

  • Processing or delivery estimates will be completed by a guaranteed date.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, portions of this section may not apply.

Section 20 — Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Arleene Forge and its owners, affiliates, partners, employees, contractors, service providers, agents, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from:

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Section 21 — Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arleene Forge, Shopify, and their respective affiliates, owners, partners, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms.

  • Your violation of applicable law.

  • Your violation of another party’s rights.

  • Your misuse of the Services.

  • Content you submit through the Services.

We will provide notice of an indemnifiable claim when reasonably possible. You agree to cooperate in the defense of the claim.

Section 22 — Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Any unenforceable portion will be severed without affecting the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Section 23 — Waiver and Entire Agreement

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

These Terms, together with all policies and rules posted through the Services, represent the entire agreement between you and Arleene Forge regarding use of the Services.

They replace prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or proposals regarding the same subject matter.

Any uncertainty in interpreting these Terms will not automatically be interpreted against the party that drafted them.

Section 24 — Assignment

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written permission from Arleene Forge.

Arleene Forge may assign or transfer its rights and obligations where permitted by law.

Section 25 — Governing Law

These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide Services will be governed by the applicable laws and courts of the jurisdiction in which Arleene Forge is headquartered, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.

Section 26 — Headings

Section headings are provided for convenience and organization only. They do not limit or otherwise affect the meaning of these Terms.

Section 27 — Changes to These Terms

You may review the current version of these Terms of Service on this page at any time.

We reserve the right to update, revise, replace, or modify these Terms by posting an updated version on our website.
