At Arleene Forge, each hunting cutting board is individually handmade and made to order. Because of the custom, handcrafted nature of our products, we maintain a strict refund and return policy. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below.
All Sales Are Final
All orders placed through our website are considered final once submitted.
We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations for:

Change of mind.

Buyer’s remorse.

Accidental purchases.

Ordering the wrong product.

Deciding that you no longer want the product.

Personal preferences regarding the wood grain, color, finish, design details, or overall appearance.

Shipping delays outside of our control.

Failure to read the product description, processing timeframe, dimensions, or store policies before purchasing.
Handmade Product Disclaimer
All hunting cutting boards sold by Arleene Forge are handmade and individually crafted from wood. Because wood is a natural material, every board will have its own unique grain pattern, coloring, knots, markings, texture, and other natural characteristics.
The product images displayed on our website are intended to represent the overall design, theme, size, and style of the cutting board. They do not guarantee that the board you receive will be an exact replica of the board shown in the listing photographs.
Normal variations may occur in:

Wood grain and natural markings.

Wood color and shading.
-
Design placement and artistic details.
-
Shape, edges, and finishing details.

Surface texture and overall appearance.

Minor measurements due to the handmade process.
We make every reasonable effort to maintain consistency and ensure that each board substantially resembles the advertised design. However, slight differences are expected and are part of what makes every handmade wooden cutting board unique.
Natural wood characteristics and reasonable handmade variations are not considered defects, damage, misrepresentation, or valid grounds for a refund, return, exchange, cancellation, payment dispute, or chargeback.
No Returns for Appearance Differences
Refunds, returns, exchanges, cancellations, or replacements will not be accepted because:

The board does not look exactly like the listing photographs.

The wood grain or coloring appears different.
-
Natural knots, markings, or variations are present.
-
Handmade details differ slightly from the images.
-
Design elements are positioned differently.

The customer expected an exact replica of the photographed board.

The customer does not personally like the natural appearance of the wood.
By purchasing a handmade wooden product, customers acknowledge and accept that natural and handcrafted variations are an expected part of the product.
Damaged or Defective Products
A replacement, repair, partial refund, or full refund may only be considered if the cutting board arrives damaged or has a genuine manufacturing defect.
Customers must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

Clear photographs of the damaged or defective board.

Clear photographs of all packaging materials.

Clear photographs of the shipping box.

A clear photograph of the shipping label.

A detailed description of the issue.
The board and all original packaging must be kept until the claim has been fully reviewed. Failure to provide sufficient evidence or contacting us after the seven-day period may result in the claim being denied.
Claim Review Process
Every damage or defect claim is reviewed individually.
Arleene Forge reserves the right to:

Request additional photographs, videos, or information.

Determine whether the issue is a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, natural wood characteristic, or normal handmade variation.

Require the damaged item to be returned before providing a resolution.

Approve or deny a claim based on the evidence provided.
Submitting a claim does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement.
Replacement or Refund Determination
If a claim is approved, Arleene Forge may choose the most appropriate resolution based on the circumstances, including:

Replacing the cutting board.

Repairing the cutting board when possible.

Issuing a partial refund.
-
Issuing a full refund.
The resolution offered will depend on the type and severity of the damage or defect.
Non-Eligible Claims
The following situations are not eligible for refunds, returns, replacements, or exchanges:

Change of mind or buyer’s remorse.

Incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

Packages delivered to the address entered during checkout.

Shipping carrier delays.
-
Customs delays or international processing delays.
-
Delays caused by weather, holidays, emergencies, or circumstances outside our control.

Normal wear and tear.

Damage that occurs after delivery.

Improper use, washing, care, storage, or handling.

Natural wood grain, knots, markings, color variations, or texture.

Minor differences between the delivered board and the listing photographs.

Failure to follow any care instructions provided with the product.

Failure to report damage or defects within seven days of delivery.
Processing and Shipping Timeframes
Each hunting cutting board is handmade to order. Customers are responsible for reviewing the listed production and processing timeframe before completing their purchase.
Processing time refers to the time required to create and prepare the board for shipment. It does not include the shipping carrier’s delivery time after the order has been shipped.
An order is not considered delayed while it remains within the processing timeframe displayed on our website at the time of purchase.
Cancellations
Because materials, labor, and production planning begin after an order is placed, cancellation requests are not guaranteed and may be denied.
Once production has begun, an order cannot be canceled or refunded.
Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.
Arleene Forge is not responsible for packages that are delayed, returned, lost, or delivered incorrectly because the customer provided an inaccurate or incomplete address.
Any additional shipping costs required to resend a returned package will be the customer’s responsibility.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact us and allow us a reasonable opportunity to address their concerns before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, we reserve the right to provide the payment processor or financial institution with relevant documentation, including:

Tracking information.

Delivery confirmation.

Customer communications.
-
Product descriptions.
-
Processing timeframes.
-
Photographs or production records.
-
Store policies presented at the time of purchase.
Claims based solely on normal handmade variations, natural wood characteristics, disclosed processing times, or reasonable differences between listing photographs and the finished product may be challenged using this documentation.
